8/11 Sudbury River
Fished the Sudbury river for the 1st time with Bam. Had a great day on the water. Never before have we caught a mixed bag like this. Probably a couple dozen Bass, numerous Crappie, Pickerel, Pike, Catfish on cranks, White perch, and Dace. Story for the day is Bam casts a crank in Fairhaven Bay and a birds nest goes through his guides. He starts reeling and of course gets slammed a nice 5 to 6 lb Bass. Now he reels in but can't get past the guides so has to hand line. The fish get about 2 feet from the net and jumps, guess what happens. Your right it jumps and snap off with his new crankbait. I will have to fish here again.
